Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role will focus on supporting project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control for various new and ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring projects are executed on time through effective progress tracking, reporting, and coordination with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6, closely monitoring project progress, and preparing detailed reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Coordination with site teams to track work status and identify potential delays is essential. Additional duties include supporting resource allocation, cost management, productivity analysis, and critical path evaluation to recommend corrective actions as needed. Working in partnership with project management, the Planning Engineer will help ensure projects meet their scheduled deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and possess a Primavera P6 certification. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within the construction industry is required, along with a thorough understanding of project planning techniques, scheduling methods, and monitoring tools. Solid knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and resource planning is essential. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel is mandatory, with familiarity in Power BI considered an advantage.
