Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physical Security Computer Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in computer engineering, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and enhancing software and hardware systems related to physical security. This role requires leadership skills to supervise technical staff and ensure the optimal performance of security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of physical security systems. Duties include supervising installation and repair activities, analyzing system usage to identify upgrades or modifications, and recommending new technologies or equipment replacements. You will also be tasked with developing high-level, low-level, and system-level design documents, as well as managing server and storage sizing tools.

Additionally, this role involves preparing training materials for maintenance teams and security personnel while ensuring compliance with client policies and industry standards. Effective management of work schedules and maintenance activities such as corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years of professional experience in computer engineering, with a focus on physical security systems.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems including Windows Server.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, ISO, and IEC.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity regulations, particularly those set by the National Cybersecurity Authority.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate maintenance and installation tasks effectively.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must adhere strictly to all prescribed safety and security procedures. Experience in preparing detailed architectural documentation such as HLD, LLD, and SLD is essential. The role involves regular review and planning of future physical security needs to stay aligned with evolving client operational requirements.
