Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Site Engineer to supervise the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on site. This role requires ensuring all MEP installations align with approved designs, project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems on site.
• Ensure that all work complies with approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions before execution.
• Track project progress and prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Conduct site inspections to confirm adherence to quality assurance and control standards.
• Identify and resolve any technical or site challenges promptly.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover phases of MEP systems.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on site.
• Assist in quantity verification, material planning, and resource allocation to optimize site efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP construction projects.
• In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical (LV/MV), plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications competently.
• Good understanding of international standards and local authority regulations relevant to MEP works.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight project deadlines.
• Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or high-rise developments is preferred.
• Familiarity with MEP testing and commissioning procedures.
• Previous experience working in the GCC region, preferably in Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
