Job Overview

Hadaf Al Jawdah, a specialized company in manufacturing and installing HVAC and MEP systems, is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality standards across HVAC duct production and MEP site installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes.

Key Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer plays a vital role both in the factory and on-site to ensure excellence throughout production and installation phases.

• Factory QA/QC (HVAC Duct Production): Inspect incoming raw materials such as galvanized iron, stainless steel, and aluminum sheets. Monitor fabrication processes including duct dimensions, gauge thickness, and seam integrity. Enforce adherence to SMACNA standards and fabrication drawings. Oversee sealant, gasket installation, and insulation quality. Conduct routine tests like pressure and weld inspections.
• Site QA/QC (MEP Projects): Review and approve technical submittals including Material Inspection Requests and Method Statements. Perform site inspections and manage Work Inspection Requests related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical works. Handle non-conformance through timely reports and corrective actions. Witness performance tests such as duct leakage, hydrostatic pipe testing, and electrical continuity checks. Coordinate final handover documentation including As-Built drawings and Operation & Maintenance manuals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in MEP contracting and HVAC manufacturing.
• Relevant certifications such as ASNT Level II (RT/UT/PT/MT), AWS/CSWIP welding, quality assurance, or auditor certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA, ASTM standards, and local building codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and quality management software.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and the ability to coordinate efficiently across teams.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between 3,000 and 5,000 SAR, complemented by food allowance (FAT) and medical benefits. The company offers Iqama transfer only; rental sponsorship is not available.

Work Environment and Joining

This role requires immediate joining. The successful candidate will be involved in a dynamic environment balancing factory production quality control with on-site MEP project supervision.
