Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join a dynamic team working on a major project in Riyadh. This role demands a professional who is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards in mechanical installations and possesses a deep understanding of industry codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality control activities related to mechanical systems including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and piping. This includes conducting thorough inspections to ensure all work complies with project specifications and international standards like ASME, ASTM, and NFPA.

Additionally, you will prepare and review vital documentation such as Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Material Inspection Requests (MIR). Regular site inspections will be part of your duties to monitor progress and guarantee adherence to approved drawings and quality benchmarks.

Resolving quality issues is a critical part of the role, involving identifying non-conformances, recommending corrective measures, and ensuring resolutions are properly implemented to achieve flawless project delivery. You will also witness and certify essential tests such as pressure, leak, and equipment startup tests during commissioning phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Mechanical QA/QC roles.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and handling testing equipment.
• Certifications like CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI (Welding), or ASNT Level II are highly preferred.
• Current residence in Riyadh with familiarity of local site conditions and regulations is essential.

Interview Process

This position requires candidates to attend an in-person technical interview at our Riyadh office. Online or remote interviews are not available as we prioritize face-to-face evaluation and practical technical assessments.
