Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Estimation Engineer with at least three years of experience in construction or contracting projects. This role focuses on delivering precise cost estimates and supporting the tendering process for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimations for mechanical works such as HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and perform detailed cost analysis.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed pricing breakdowns.
• Contribute to bid preparation and ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate effectively with project management, procurement, and engineering teams to align estimates with project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience specifically in mechanical estimation within construction or contracting sectors.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and cost control practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with relevant estimation software tools.
• Ability to interpret and read technical drawings accurately.
• Good command of English communication skills, both written and verbal.
