Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer specializing in pumps and booster systems. This role requires hands-on knowledge in pump selection, technical calculations, performance analysis, and compliance assessments. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, particularly working with renowned pump brands and varied applications.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical estimation and technical evaluation of various pump types and booster assemblies. This includes:

• Accurate selection and sizing of pumps used for chilled water, booster applications, transfer, hot water circulation, sewage, submersible, and similar systems.
• Performing pump performance calculations based on curves and operational requirements.
• Ensuring technical compliance and correct specification for large-brand pumps such as Grundfos, Wilo, KSB, and Xylem.
• Understanding and evaluating booster assembly designs, incorporating necessary mechanical accessories including valves, pipes, manifolds, and switches.
• Knowledge of the operational sequence for pumps encompassing duties like duty cycle management, alternation, and standby modes.
• Reviewing detailed pump design elements such as impellers, casings, shafts, and seals to guarantee technical feasibility and performance.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in pump technology and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in pump selection, estimation, and technical compliance processes.
• Familiarity with booster systems and associated mechanical components.
• Ability to interpret and work with technical data including pump curves and performance parameters.
• Experience with well-known pump manufacturers and their product ranges.
