Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in cost estimation to join our team in Riyadh. This is an excellent mid-career opportunity for candidates aged 22 to 35, ideally from Indian, Sri Lankan, or Filipino backgrounds. The role demands at least three years of relevant experience in cost estimation within the engineering sector, with immediate hiring and sponsorship transfer available.

The position offers a competitive salary range of 3500 to 4500 SAR along with benefits including company-provided accommodation, transportation to work, and medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough engineering assessments and prepare detailed cost estimations.
• Perform site evaluations across Saudi Arabia to support project requirements.
• Apply value engineering techniques to optimize costs.
• Carry out process evaluations, cost re-engineering, and value analysis to enhance project efficiency.
• Engage in product research and development to support innovation.
• Evaluate and assess materials for project suitability.
• Handle technocommercial activities including preparing structured Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Lading (BOL) for project jobs.
• Prepare detailed costing for daily incoming enquiries and coordinate closely with the sales team to ensure timely responses to all RFQs.
• Plan procurement activities and forecast material requirements accurately.
• Support sales executives technically and liaise directly with customers when needed.
• Evaluate vendors systematically and contribute to reducing overall product costs.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by management to support business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years’ experience specifically in cost estimation.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills related to engineering projects.
• Proficiency in preparing cost analyses, BOM/BOL documentation, and material forecasts.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with sales and procurement teams.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and clients.
• Willingness to travel across sites within Saudi Arabia as part of site evaluation duties.
