A reputable contracting firm is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in tank works to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power plant projects, particularly involving API tanks, and possess a thorough knowledge of maintenance, repair, and inspection processes. Key Responsibilities

The successful Mechanical Engineer will oversee all tank-related activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair operations. Coordination with inspection teams to guarantee project specifications are met is a vital part of this role. Additionally, the engineer will enforce adherence to rigorous HSE standards and client expectations, ensuring smooth project execution that aligns with quality, schedule, and budget objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with tank projects, including API tanks, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Previous experience in power plant environments such as SEC, National Grid, or comparable projects is highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with API standards, tank integrity systems, and coordinating non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Excellent understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols alongside Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) practices.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic contracting company engaged in power plant infrastructure. The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented engineer capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities effectively.
