Job Overview

Our client, a distinguished manufacturer specializing in high-performance hydraulic systems and components, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to enhance their team. This role is based in the factory located in Dammam’s 2nd Industrial City, serving major clients predominantly in the oil and chemical sectors across Dammam and Jubail.

The successful candidate will lead the design and development of custom hydraulic products, including cylinders, pumps, valves, and power units, from concept through to full-scale manufacturing. This position demands a motivated professional eager to contribute technical expertise and drive innovation within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic systems and components tailored to client specifications.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal product performance and reliability.
• Create and refine detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using solid modeling software.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support seamless transition from design to production.
• Apply principles of fluid mechanics and mechanical drive systems to enhance product functionality.
• Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
• Work independently or within cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders or systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor is essential.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, mechanical drives, and GD&T standards.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications to support documentation and communication.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in multidisciplinary teams.

Work Location and Candidate Preference

The position is located in the Eastern Province, Dammam 2nd Industrial City. Given the location’s proximity to major industrial hubs like Dammam and Jubail, preference will be given to candidates residing within the Eastern Province for easier commute and availability.
