Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in fire fighting systems to join a growing engineering team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, testing, and supervising fire protection systems to ensure safety and compliance with international and local standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Developing detailed designs for fire protection systems using AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation tools.
• Conducting thorough Building Code analyses, Gap analyses, and Fire Risk Assessments to support project safety objectives.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning, and supervision of fire fighting system installations.
• Identifying occupational health hazards and contributing to emergency evacuation plan reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software related to fire protection engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes and standards applicable to building systems.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to assess fire risk in various construction phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in fire protection system design, testing, commissioning, or construction supervision.
