We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Materials and Mix Design Engineer to become an integral part of our technical team. This role involves engineering, testing, and fine-tuning concrete, asphalt, and soil mix compositions to guarantee they meet rigorous project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Materials and Mix Design Engineer will have a critical role in the development and approval of mix designs to ensure performance and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, testing, and validating concrete and asphalt mix designs according to international standards such as ASTM and AASHTO, as well as local regulatory requirements.
  • Managing laboratory testing processes for materials such as aggregates, cement, bitumen, and soil, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection and analysis.
  • Optimizing mix solutions to achieve an ideal balance between durability, workability, and structural strength while considering cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring all material specifications and mix designs comply fully with project quality standards prior to implementation on site.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of concrete, asphalt, and soil material properties and behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with mix design methodologies and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, and local construction standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess laboratory test data and optimize material compositions.
