Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Riyadh. This role involves research, development, design, testing, and quality control of various materials to support innovative and high-standard product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

The Material Engineer will be responsible for conducting experiments and tests aimed at developing new materials or enhancing the properties of existing ones. Collaborating closely with scientists and fellow engineers, the candidate will focus on improving material strength, durability, and cost-efficiency. Additionally, the role requires investigating material performance and assessing suitability for various applications.

Design and testing form a critical component of this position, requiring the engineer to develop and evaluate materials used in products ranging from consumer goods to aerospace components. Proficiency in advanced computer modeling software will be essential to predict how materials behave under different conditions, along with overseeing prototype development and ensuring the materials meet stringent specifications during manufacturing.

Quality control and regulatory compliance are also vital, ensuring that all materials conform to safety standards and industry regulations. The engineer will perform failure analysis and troubleshoot issues arising during production, preparing detailed technical reports to support ongoing research and product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field. Higher academic qualifications such as a Master’s or Ph.D. are preferred, especially for those involved in specialized research roles.

A solid understanding of material properties and characteristics is essential, alongside strong skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and other engineering software tools used in material analysis and design.

Employment Details and Benefits

This is a supplier-based position offering a competitive salary package. Please note that Iqama transfer is not available for this role. Contracts will be managed through Ajeer or Kafeel No Objection Letter arrangements.
