Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves research, design, testing, and quality control of materials used across various industries. The position offers a competitive salary package and operates on a supplier-based contract through Ajeer/Kafeel with no Iqama transfer available.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive research and development activities, including conducting experiments and testing to innovate new materials or enhance existing ones. Collaborating closely with scientists and fellow engineers, you will work to improve critical material attributes such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

In addition to R&D, designing and testing materials for diverse products—from consumer goods to aerospace components—will be a primary focus. Utilizing advanced computer modeling tools, you will predict material behaviors in various conditions, develop prototypes, and oversee production processes to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Quality assurance is also vital, requiring you to verify that materials meet safety and industry standards, perform failure analyses, and troubleshoot issues encountered during manufacturing. Documenting research findings and preparing detailed technical reports will support ongoing product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Those with Master’s or Ph.D. qualifications will be given preference, especially for research-intensive roles.

A strong grasp of material properties and characteristics is essential. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and other relevant engineering software will be necessary to carry out modeling and testing activities effectively.

Work Conditions

This position is supplier-based and does not accommodate Iqama transfer. Employment will be managed through a contract system involving Ajeer or Kafeel with the provision of a No Objection Letter.
