Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage the preventive and corrective maintenance of various restaurant machinery. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of grills, fryers, ovens, refrigeration units, and other essential kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a minimum of three years’ experience working with restaurant or commercial kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing routine maintenance and urgent repairs of kitchen machines to minimize downtime.
• Leading a maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in various cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Interpreting technical manuals and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Maintaining reliable records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of direct experience maintaining restaurant, QSR, hotel, or commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Practical knowledge working with grills, fryers, ovens, refrigerators, mixers, and comparable kitchen machinery.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to resolve problems efficiently.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure and managing urgent repairs promptly.
