We are seeking an experienced Lead Planning Engineer to oversee planning and scheduling for complex projects and large-scale programmes. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven expertise in project controls, risk management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of project schedules and applying Earned Value Management (EVM) alongside robust project controls methodologies to effectively monitor and enhance performance. You will lead and mentor planning teams, guiding their professional development and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Your role includes providing comprehensive analysis and corrective actions while maintaining clear communication with clients. Additionally, you will support senior management during negotiations and contribute to business growth strategies. Collaborating on sustainability goals, you will assist with proactive emissions management and carbon footprint reduction efforts.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 15 years of experience managing major programmes and leading sizable teams in engineering or related fields.
• Advanced technical proficiency with a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk-based decision-making and process optimization to maximize project outcomes.
• Experience in developing and implementing standards, processes, and performance improvements across functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and apply statistical techniques to identify trends.
