Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled H2S Service Technician / H2S Specialist to join a reputable company based in Saudi Arabia. This role is open to candidates of any nationality with experience working in environments where hydrogen sulfide (H2S) safety and gas detection are critical. The position involves working 12-hour shifts on a renewable yearly contract, providing an excellent career opportunity within the oil, gas, or industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining H2S detection equipment, including monitors, gas detection systems, breathing air compressors, and cascade systems. Ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of breathing apparatus used in hazardous environments is a key part of this role. The technician may be required to work across onshore and offshore rigs, barges, and plant facilities, where strict safety compliance is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years field experience working with H2S safety equipment and protocols.
• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering disciplines.
• Practical knowledge of H2S monitors, gas detection technologies, and breathing apparatus maintenance.
• Familiarity with onshore or offshore operational environments such as rigs, barges, or industrial plants is preferred.
