Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Facade Designer with a focus on aluminum and glazing systems to join our team. This role involves designing and delivering innovative facade solutions for various building projects, ensuring architectural and structural integrity throughout.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed shop and fabrication drawings for facade installations. You will design aluminum-based components such as curtain walls, windows, doors, and exterior cladding systems. Close coordination with structural and architectural teams is essential to align requirements and guarantee high-quality outcomes. The role also includes conducting material quantity take-offs to aid the production team and ensuring all designs meet project specifications and performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of five years of practical experience in aluminum facade design is necessary. Proficiency with AutoCAD and other facade detailing software is required, along with a robust understanding of aluminum profiles, glazing, curtain wall systems, and structural silicone applications. Experience collaborating with factory and on-site teams will be highly valued.
