Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Engineer to join our team for substation projects based in Khurma, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing safety protocols specifically within 380kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and substation construction environments. This opportunity requires immediate availability and relevant certifications to ensure compliance with Saudi energy sector standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing safety procedures during the construction phases, ensuring all activities conform to regulatory and client requirements. This includes hazard identification, risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and coordinating with project teams to foster a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• At least 10 years of overall engineering experience
• Minimum 5 years of direct involvement in construction projects related to substations or 380kV overhead transmission lines
• Proven expertise in safety management in high voltage electrical projects
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Energy Company (SEC) safety standards and practices

Requirements

Candidates must hold the following certifications and registrations to be considered:

• Saudi Energy Company (SEC) Approval (mandatory)
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration
• Valid IQAMA with profession indicated as Engineer
• Updated medical insurance
• Relevant educational and safety certificates that will be verified by the client
