Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and efficient operation of fuel dispensing systems, especially Wayne equipment, at various fuel stations across the region. The position demands a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on fuel dispensers and associated automation systems.
- Carrying out regular inspections and calibrations to ensure precise fuel dispensing.
- Upgrading dispenser software and adjusting system parameters as needed.
- Integrating dispensers with point-of-sale (POS) systems, tank level gauges, and automatic tank gauging (ATG) units.
- Maintaining thorough service documentation including work orders and maintenance logs.
- Providing rapid response to emergency service requests to minimize operational downtime.
- Adhering to safety regulations and company standards in all maintenance activities.
- Coordinating with suppliers and technical support teams for spare parts and system updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 to 7 years’ experience working specifically with Wayne fuel dispensers.
- Familiarity with vapor recovery systems and forecourt automation is advantageous.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, preparing Bills of Quantity, and communicating operational requirements to clients.
- Strong diagnostic skills for fault detection and repair of fuel dispensing systems.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and service manuals effectively.
- Knowledge of RS-485 communication, IFSF protocols, and dispenser configuration tools.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and performing firmware upgrades.
- Experience with sales activities and managing annual maintenance contracts (AMC) is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from 850 to 900 BHD, along with additional benefits including a company car, fuel allowance, and a sim card.
