Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Huawei IBS Technician to spearhead the deployment, integration, and optimization of indoor cellular coverage systems within large-scale high-rise buildings and stadiums. This role requires hands-on experience with Huawei’s advanced indoor base station technologies and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of installing and configuring Huawei active and passive IBS equipment including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Pico BTS, LampSite, and hubs. You will be responsible for conducting VSWR and fiber-optic cable tests, powering up and integrating Huawei indoor base stations, and troubleshooting issues such as sector swaps, hardware malfunctions, and radio frequency interference to ensure optimal network performance.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Comprehensive understanding of DBS3900, BTS3900, and LampSite system architectures.
• Ability to interpret complex RF schematic diagrams and detailed floor plans accurately.
• Proficiency in fiber optic splicing along with RF and optical testing methodologies.
• Strict compliance with telecom health and safety regulations, including working at heights.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of two years experience specifically in Huawei IBS project deployments.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
• Possession of valid Huawei certifications will be considered a strong advantage.
• Immediate availability to join the team is highly desirable.
