Job Overview

Vetic, a leading company specialized in elevator services, is looking to hire a skilled Elevator Mechanical Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with mechanical elevator systems focusing on installation, maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of various mechanical components essential to elevator operations. This includes motors, sheaves, pulleys, and counterweights. Additionally, the role requires precise installation and alignment of elevator guide rails and guide shoes to ensure smooth and safe elevator movement.

Other critical duties include inspecting and servicing elevator braking systems, governors, and safety gear assemblies to maintain structural integrity and passenger safety. Diagnosing mechanical faults and wear, troubleshooting issues promptly, and utilizing precision measurement tools are also essential parts of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of three years of direct experience working with elevator mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical inspection capabilities including alignment and adjustment of parts.
• Proficiency in elevator rail and guide shoe installation and maintenance.
• Ability to repair and adjust brake and safety systems ensuring compliance with mechanical safety standards.
• Expertise in fault diagnosis and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Effective use of precision measurement instruments.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment and lockout/tagout procedures.
