Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our engineering team in Riyadh. This role involves the creation, coordination, and management of detailed Building Information Models for complex MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure projects and strong technical abilities in BIM software.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your daily tasks, you will:

• Develop precise 3D BIM models for electrical and mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Perform clash detection analysis to identify conflicts between MEP services and architectural or structural elements, proposing effective on-site solutions.
• Extract and prepare coordinated shop drawings, schematics, and layouts for installation and site use.
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material specifications from federated BIM models to assist procurement and estimation teams.
• Work closely with project managers, lead engineers, and site teams to ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical BIM modeling, particularly within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. Experience with Dynamo or similar automation tools is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems including routing, cable tray sizing, substation layouts, and equipment clearances, aligned with local engineering standards.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills, spatial visualization, and effective communication to resolve coordination challenges efficiently.
