Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term project based in Jafura, Jubail. This role demands a professional with proven expertise in supervising electrical construction activities for ARAMCO projects. The ideal candidate must be available for an interview on 03-06-2026 in Jubail and ready to lead on-site electrical operations while ensuring strict adherence to ARAMCO standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee daily electrical construction works such as cable laying, terminations, tray installations, lighting, grounding, and substation activities. They will make sure all tasks conform to ARAMCO’s SAES and SAEP guidelines, as well as approved drawings and IFC documentation. Efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines is a critical part of this role.

Technical responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, method statements, and ITPs. Monitoring the installation of medium and low voltage systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, control panels, as well as earthing and lightning protection systems is essential. The supervisor will troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges on site.

Quality assurance tasks involve coordinating inspections with ARAMCO representatives, supporting QA/QC teams through RFIs, SAT/FAT participation, punch list clearance, and ensuring that all documentation and as-built drawings are accurately maintained.

Safety is paramount; the supervisor must enforce ARAMCO HSE standards and the Permit to Work system. Conducting toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily safety briefings to maintain a zero-incident record is a core responsibility. The role also requires verifying compliance with electrical safety standards and hazardous area classifications.

Effective coordination with other disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Commissioning teams is needed. The supervisor will participate in site meetings and prepare daily progress reports, weekly schedules, and productivity and manpower updates. This position also supports testing and commissioning activities, including overseeing pre-commissioning, functional tests, energization, and startup processes.

Required Skills and Experience

The candidate should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, backed by 7 to 12 years of experience in electrical construction within oil and gas sectors. At least 3 to 5 years must be spent in a supervisory position on ARAMCO or similar large-scale projects.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP) and international standards such as IEC and NEC is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical systems for oil and gas facilities, including hazardous area equipment. The ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, one-line diagrams, and layouts is essential.

Leadership capabilities, ability to manage multicultural teams, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication in English are important. Arabic language skills are advantageous. Experience with project management software and reporting tools will be beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a site-based role located in remote gas field areas subject to harsh weather conditions such as extreme heat and dust. The supervisor must comply with strict personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and internal safety procedures. The position may involve extended hours and rotational shifts depending on project demands.

Success in this role will be measured by compliance with ARAMCO safety standards ensuring zero lost-time incidents, delivering quality electrical work within schedule, minimizing non-conformance reports, optimizing manpower usage, and achieving timely inspection approvals and commissioning milestones.
