Job Overview

Thuraya Al Khalidiya General Contracting Co. is seeking a capable and motivated Electrical Engineer to take on the role of Shift In-Charge at a combined cycle power plant located in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. This long-term opportunity involves overseeing the operation of gas and steam turbines, electrical systems, and instrumentation and control (I&C) within the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess relevant experience in power plant operations, specifically with F-Class or H-Class gas turbines.

Key Responsibilities

As Shift In-Charge, your primary responsibility is to manage and supervise shift operations to ensure smooth and efficient plant performance. You will lead and coordinate activities among the engineering and operational teams, maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, and uphold safety and quality standards throughout the shift cycle. Your role also involves troubleshooting and resolving operational issues while optimizing the performance of electrical and turbine systems.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a shift supervisor or shift leader in power plant operations
• Hands-on experience with gas turbine combined cycle power plants, including F-Class or H-Class turbine operation
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and instrumentation and control systems
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage

Additional Details

The employment will be on a rental basis charged hourly, with full access to field acceptance testing (FAT) facilities on-site. Immediate availability for deployment is highly desirable. The compensation package is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
