Description

Job Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on drilling rigs, including generators, MCC panels, VFDs, SCR systems, motors, lighting, and control systems.

Diagnose electrical faults and ensure quick restoration to minimize downtime.

Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with company and Saudi Aramco HSE standards.

Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.（LOTO）

Maintain accurate electrical maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.

Supervise and train electrical technicians and junior electricians.

Support rig mobilization/demobilization (Rig Up / Rig Down), installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of electrical experience in drilling rigs, with at least 2 years in Saudi Arabia preferred.

Strong knowledge of rig power systems, generators, VFD/SCR drives, and PLC control systems.

Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Valid Saudi Iqama or transferable sponsorship preferred.

Ability to work in rotational shifts and remote desert locations.
