Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Electrical/Electronics ELV Fire Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with fire and gas detection systems, particularly within the oil and gas or industrial sectors. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of specialized fire safety equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire and gas detection solutions, including gaseous clean agent suppression systems such as FM-200 and CO2. Duties include working with UV/IR flame detectors, smoke and heat detectors, and thermal sensors. The role also requires programming and configuring fire and gas control panels and related devices, carrying out detailed testing and system calibrations, as well as performing troubleshooting to resolve faults promptly.
Required Skills and Experience
- Associate Diploma Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or electronics fields.
- At least five years of hands-on experience with 3 to 5 years specifically as an Electrical/Electronics Technician handling fire and gas detection systems.
- Strong background in installation and maintenance of fire and gas detection solutions in industrial or offshore environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of gaseous suppression systems and their operational sequences, including FM-200 and CO2 agents.
- Proficiency with a wide range of detectors including UV/IR flame, smoke, heat, and thermal types.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, testing, programming, and calibration of fire and gas control panels.
- A valid driving license is required for this position.
Additional Details
The position requires a minimum contract commitment of 24 months. Preference will be given to local transfers; however, this can be further discussed during the interview process. Salary details will be finalized with shortlisted candidates. Interviews will be conducted online after the initial CV screening and shortlisting.
