Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role primarily involves reviewing shop and as-built drawings, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs). The Civil Engineer will work closely with site engineers and project teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed BOQs.
• Examine project specifications and contract documents to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Prepare material submittals and facilitate consultant approvals.
• Collaborate with site engineers to address and resolve technical challenges promptly.
• Draft Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage technical correspondence effectively.
• Support planning and cost control teams as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with project standards, specifications, and quality expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical office or site-related roles within construction projects.
• Strong familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Experience with quantity surveying and preparation of project documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and MS Project.
• Excellent analytical and coordination abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
