We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in interior fit-out projects to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering tasks specific to interior finishing works, particularly in large-scale projects such as airports and metro rails. This role requires close collaboration with clients and project teams to ensure that project requirements are met with the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed schedules, coordinating project activities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. This involves setting project parameters, delegating tasks to team members, and maintaining clear communication with clients to interpret their needs accurately. Quality control is a crucial aspect of this position, requiring on-site inspections and reporting on project status to identify and resolve any issues promptly. The role also includes forecasting material needs and ensuring orders are placed on time, establishing testing methods to guarantee work quality, and adhering strictly to relevant codes, policies, and performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering or project management related to fit-out works. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of site experience will be considered. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. A strong understanding of engineering scopes within the fit-out industry, especially in finishing works for airports and metro rails, is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a thorough knowledge of applicable construction codes and best practices, are vital for success in this role.
