Job Overview

We are currently seeking two skilled BIM Coordinators specializing in MEP disciplines to join a major infrastructure project based in Riyadh. These full-time, on-site roles are offered initially on a six-month contract with the possibility of extension depending on project needs. The ideal candidates will be responsible for leading BIM coordination across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital models and seamless collaboration between various project teams.

Key Responsibilities

The BIM Coordinators will take charge of MEP BIM processes, including enforcing BIM standards and managing clash detection workflows. Key duties include providing mentorship to BIM engineers and modelers, developing and implementing BIM execution plans and project protocols, and handling coordination between MEP and other trades via clash resolution tools like Navisworks. Responsibilities also cover conducting rigorous quality assurance checks on models, managing the Common Data Environment (CDE/Aconex) workflows for digital deliverables, and supporting on-site construction teams by delivering coordinated models, technical drawings, responding to RFIs, and updating as-built models.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 8 to 10 years of BIM coordination or MEP modeling experience on large infrastructure or commercial projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise with Navisworks Manage and Revit software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud (Docs & Collaborate Pro)
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and coordination methods
• Proven leadership in managing BIM teams
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Riyadh

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified BIM Professional (CBP) or equivalent certification
• Previous experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East region
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes and construction standards
• Experience using other Common Data Environment platforms such as Trimble Connect or Autodesk ACC
