Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and layouts following engineering designs and project specifications. This role requires close collaboration with various project teams to ensure all drawings meet established standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The AutoCAD Draftsman will prepare detailed 2D technical drawings aligned with project needs. You will develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and intricate layouts that support construction and engineering workflows. The role involves reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers and consultants, and coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to integrate all disciplines seamlessly. Ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and project specifications is essential. Additionally, maintaining organized documentation of drawing versions and assisting project teams with any drafting-related duties will be part of your daily tasks.

Requirements and Skills

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Drafting Technology. A minimum of three years’ experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman is required, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D—knowledge of 3D modeling is advantageous. Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications is crucial. We look for someone with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with construction or industrial project environments will be a distinct asset.
