Job Overview

Averroës Academy in Riyadh is looking for a committed and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join their team. This position involves teaching business-related subjects both online and on campus. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in business concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make lessons engaging and practical for students.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Teacher will be responsible for delivering dynamic lessons in Business Studies, Economics, and related fields across various grade levels. They will prepare detailed lesson plans incorporating presentations, case studies, and real-world business scenarios. Regular assessments including quizzes, assignments, and tests will be designed and administered to evaluate student progress.

Supporting students beyond class through extra sessions and exam preparations is a key part of this role. Maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom atmosphere is essential to fostering effective learning. The teacher will utilize digital tools such as spreadsheets, simulations, and learning management systems to enhance the educational experience. Collaboration with fellow faculty members to continuously improve teaching quality is expected. Practical learning activities like market simulations and financial analysis projects will also be conducted.

Qualifications and Experience

For subject specialists, a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline is required along with at least two years of teaching experience in Business Studies or Economics. Candidates must have a strong command of English and deep knowledge of business operations, marketing, finance, and economics. Proficiency with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms is a must.

Junior level teachers should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Economics and have a minimum of two years teaching experience at the school level. A solid understanding of foundational business concepts and good communication skills are essential.
