Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a skilled Food Service Equipment Manager to lead commercial kitchen projects in Bahrain. This role offers an attractive total compensation package including BD 2000, yearly airfare, family status benefits, a company car, and mobile sim support. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of food service equipment installation, from initial design through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

The manager will be responsible for directing end-to-end project execution including preparing technical drawings, layouts, and equipment Bills of Quantities (BOQs). You will collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure design accuracy and meet technical specifications. Coordinating with suppliers and contractors, monitoring budgets, keeping projects on schedule, and adhering to health and safety regulations are essential duties. The role also involves conducting site inspections, managing snag lists, and ensuring smooth project handover. Additionally, providing technical support during tender and procurement stages and mentoring junior staff will be part of your responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• At least 8 years’ extensive experience managing commercial kitchen equipment projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing detailed technical drawings.
• Hands-on background in full project lifecycle including sales, design, BOQ preparation, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong project management capabilities and site supervision expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in the GCC region is required.
• Familiarity with leading international kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, and Electrolux.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Background in hospitality, F&B chains, hospitals, or central kitchen projects is preferred.
• Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
