This role demands a professional with a wide-ranging knowledge of global cuisines including continental, Asian, and Middle Eastern dishes. The ideal candidate will showcase exceptional skills in food preparation, presentation, and finishing to meet high culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed chef will be responsible for expertly preparing and presenting an extensive variety of international buffet dishes. This includes designing and executing buffet menus for events, restaurants, or catering services while maintaining consistency in flavor, portion sizes, and overall appearance. Additionally, the chef will oversee kitchen staff operations, coordinate food preparation efforts, and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols. Managing inventory and assisting with ingredient ordering will also form part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must have proven experience as an International or Buffet Chef, with solid expertise in multiple cuisines. Mastery of buffet setup, food presentation, and finishing techniques is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess effective communication and team leadership skills. Having a culinary certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Creative flair in food plating and decoration will be highly regarded. Experience working in hotels, catering businesses, or large-scale kitchen environments, as well as proficiency in managing live buffet stations, will strengthen the application.
