Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Indian Chef with strong leadership qualities to lead and manage an Indian restaurant kitchen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires someone with considerable hands-on experience preparing authentic Indian cuisine as well as managing kitchen operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will oversee the entire kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include supervising chefs and kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, developing new menu items, and contributing to improving overall restaurant performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Indian nationality with preference for Muslim candidates
- At least five years of experience working in Indian restaurants within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region
- Expertise in preparing a variety of authentic Indian dishes such as biryani (all types), butter chicken, tandoori specialties, Indian curries, masala dishes, and traditional breads like naan
- Proven experience in managing kitchen staff and operations
- Strong ability to control food quality and manage food costs effectively
- Knowledge of inventory management and kitchen logistics
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive basic salary ranging from 3000 to 4500 SAR, complemented by a profit-sharing scheme of 5% to 10%. Additionally, accommodation, Iqama, and transportation are provided as part of the employment package.
