Saudi ARAMCO is currently seeking a qualified Food Inspector to join their team at the Shaybah location. This role is vital in ensuring food safety and quality standards are rigorously maintained within food service environments. The position offers a one-year contract with a competitive salary package including allowances and company-provided housing and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

The Food Inspector will be responsible for inspecting food preparation and storage areas, collecting food samples for analysis, and conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify any potential safety or quality issues. Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety laws and regulations is a critical part of the role. The inspector must also maintain professional interactions with all members of the Saudi Aramco communities, demonstrating diplomacy, courtesy, and tactfulness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or an equivalent field from a recognized university.
• Certified trainer in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact politely and professionally with patrons and colleagues.
• Experience in front office or customer-facing roles with a professional and pleasant demeanor.
• Thorough understanding of food science principles to identify and address safety and quality concerns.
• Familiarity with relevant food legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Work Environment and Benefits

The position is based in Shaybah and offers a monthly basic salary of SAR 5,500 along with a SAR 300 food allowance. The company provides shared accommodation and transportation as part of the package. This role involves working closely with food service teams to support optimal food safety practices in all operational areas.
