A prestigious Japanese Café & Lounge is seeking a skilled and passionate Commis 1 Cook to join their culinary team in Riyadh and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve dishes following company recipes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations to support smooth and efficient food preparation.
• Maintain portion control and uphold food hygiene standards in all kitchen activities.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate food supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Support senior chefs in menu preparation and keep the kitchen organized and clean.
• Monitor inventory levels and help manage stock effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Commis 1 Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
• Thorough knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including ingredients and cooking techniques.
• Hands-on experience with sushi, sashimi, or Japanese hot kitchen dishes is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Good communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
