Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Controller to oversee and manage the company’s comprehensive accounting operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves handling all financial processes including billing, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, plus revenue recognition. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting, and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Controller will coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accurate reporting of any variances. They will also be responsible for preparing timely monthly financial statements and managing the month-end and year-end close processes. The role requires thorough research into technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the development and documentation of business processes to strengthen internal controls.

Additionally, this role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government tax reporting and filing requirements. Maintaining high standards of quality control over all financial transactions and reporting is essential.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
• Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Familiarity with regulatory financial reporting and compliance
• Ability to prepare and publish accurate, timely financial statements
• Excellent research skills for resolving complex accounting issues
• Proven experience in developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes
• Strong adherence to quality control in financial reporting
• Proficient in managing month-end and year-end closing procedures

Requirements
