Job Overview

A prominent hotel group in Saudi Arabia is looking for a seasoned Area Financial Manager to oversee and enhance the financial performance of several hotel properties. This role is pivotal to driving strategic growth initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, ensuring the financial health and operational excellence of the hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating and standardizing financial reports across all managed properties. Leading the budgeting process, forecasting future performance, and managing cash flow effectively will be critical elements of the role. Strengthening internal controls related to food and beverage, procurement, and payroll to enhance operational efficiency will also be required. Additionally, monitoring capital expenditures and ensuring strong returns on investments are essential. The Area Financial Manager will track and improve key performance indicators such as Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), Gross Operating Profit per Available Room (GOPPAR), and Flow-Through, while ensuring full compliance with all local regulatory requirements including Zakat, VAT at 15%, and Phase 2 E-Invoicing standards.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience managing finance functions across multiple hotel properties. A thorough understanding of the Saudi Arabian regulatory environment and tax obligations is mandatory. The role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent analytical skills. Experience working within the KSA hospitality sector, particularly in handling financial challenges related to seasonality and complex operations, will be highly valued.
