Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Architect with extensive experience in construction and contracting to lead architectural execution on a significant project based in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background overseeing on-site operations and ensuring design compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Architect will be responsible for supervising all architectural activities on-site, ensuring designs are executed accurately as per approved plans. Daily coordination with site engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain workflow efficiency is essential. Reviewing shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements before implementation is required to uphold quality standards. Conducting regular site inspections to quickly resolve any technical or design issues is a critical part of the role. The candidate will manage project timelines, report progress to management, and verify quantities to support reporting and documentation. Ensuring all construction work complies with safety regulations and site procedures is paramount. Finally, participation in handover processes, snagging, and project close-out activities is expected to ensure project completion to client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience

The position demands a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, complemented by 10 to 13 years of proven experience in construction and contracting projects. Candidates must demonstrate strong site management capabilities and a thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software tools is necessary. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also important to address the dynamic challenges encountered during on-site work.
