Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to oversee our interior fit-out and custom furniture projects. The ideal candidate will have solid carpentry experience, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in AutoCAD to create and modify detailed technical drawings. This role involves managing both workshop and site teams to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Carpentry Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading carpentry teams in both the workshop and on-site. Your daily tasks will include planning, organizing, and supervising production and installation activities. You will routinely visit client homes and project sites to take precise measurements and evaluate project needs. Additionally, you will prepare and update AutoCAD drawings for custom furniture and interior fit-out work, ensuring all carpentry outputs meet quality standards and project specifications. Coordination with customers to understand their requirements and propose effective solutions will be vital. Monitoring project timelines, inspecting completed work before handover, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment are also key duties. You will liaise with management regarding schedules, materials, and manpower resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 2 to 3 years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or interior fit-out, with prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. A strong understanding of furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, and interior finishing techniques is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly 2D, is required, and knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus. Candidates must be able to take accurate site measurements and produce technical drawings accordingly. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary to manage multiple projects effectively. A valid driving license is preferred, along with the ability to communicate in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
