Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled 2D CAD MEP Draftsman specialized in mechanical and electrical disciplines to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience preparing detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD and a solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role involves converting design concepts into precise shop drawings that meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D MEP shop drawings, including layouts for ducting systems, chilled water piping, plumbing, drainage, cable trays, lighting, and power distribution. The role requires updating drawings based on engineer feedback and site redlines, coordinating with architectural and structural plans, and preparing as-built drawings upon project completion to ensure a comprehensive project record.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related qualification.
• Proven experience of 2 to 4 years in MEP drafting utilizing 2D AutoCAD software.
• Strong command of AutoCAD is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to interpret and convert design drawings into detailed construction/shop drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with coordinating multidisciplinary drawings to ensure seamless integration with architectural and structural layouts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale or fast-track construction projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Basic knowledge of Revit software, although not a requirement, will be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of local KSA standards and on-site construction practices.
