Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals currently residing in Saudi Arabia to fill two critical roles: Maximo Technical Resource and Maximo Database Administrator. Both positions require immediate availability for transfer and prior experience in their respective fields. These roles are based in Riyadh and involve working with IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions, supporting and optimizing systems to meet business needs.

Maximo Technical Resource Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have over six years of functional and technical experience with Maximo Asset Management software, particularly versions 7.6.x and MAS 8/9. Key duties include designing, developing, and maintaining application solutions, migrating MAS versions, and managing container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. You will also be responsible for ensuring platform availability and performance, performing software upgrades and patches on RedHat OpenShift, and implementing robust DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Additionally, this role demands expertise in Maximo configurations including database settings, escalations, cron tasks, and automation scripting using Java. Strong skills in integrating Maximo with external applications and working alongside middleware and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges are essential. Familiarity with WebSphere, BIRT report design, and SQL scripting to support data extraction needs is also important.

Maximo Database Administrator Responsibilities

This position focuses on the effective management and optimization of Maximo databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres. Responsibilities encompass database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, along with managing data migrations, imports, exports, and archiving procedures. Ensuring database security and compliance with organizational standards is a top priority.

The administrator will also oversee system upgrades, patch management, and environment maintenance across development, testing, and production stages. Implementing and testing disaster recovery plans and collaborating closely with business analysts and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions forms a core part of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IBM Maximo EAM systems, particularly MAS 9.
• Proficient database administration skills with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Strong command of SQL, scripting, and database performance tools such as Azure Monitor.
• Experience with containerization platforms like OpenShift and virtualization technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of system architecture, including WebSphere.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must hold a transferable iqama and be located in Riyadh for immediate transfer.
