Job Overview

KOKEN International FZ LLC is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join their team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable manufacturing company specializing in tobacco and excise goods. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of relevant finance and accounting experience within the UAE or GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage a wide range of financial activities including accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger accuracy. They will also coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales to ensure accurate inventory and financial records.

Monitoring product costing, consumption of tobacco raw materials, production yields, and wastage will be critical. The role requires managing monthly stock counts and physical inventory verification, including raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and excise products. Additionally, preparing and submitting VAT and Corporate Tax returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience within the UAE or GCC.
• Industry experience in tobacco, FMCG, manufacturing, or excise goods is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with UAE accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
• Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently.
