Key Responsibilities

The Retail Cashier will be responsible for processing customer payments efficiently, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures, and ensuring end-of-day reconciliation is completed correctly. Daily tasks include managing the cash register, preparing sales reports, and delivering friendly service that fosters positive customer experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in cash handling and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems with precision.
• Skilled in end-of-day balancing and sales reconciliation.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Diploma in Computer Applications (Grade A+) and background knowledge in Electrical Technology are additional assets.

Experience

The candidate currently working at Gemini Star Tradings (Shezan Supermarket) in Qatar brings valuable experience from 2026 to the present. Previous exposure as a Cash Counter Staff at Saudi Hypermarket, Saudi Arabia, from 2024 to 2025, further enhances proficiency in retail cashier duties.
