Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join a prominent retail operation based in The Pearl, Doha. This is a full-time, on-site position in Qatar, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic retail environment by sourcing and procuring products that align with brand standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The Retail Buyer will play a critical role in selecting and purchasing merchandise that meets the target market’s needs. Responsibilities include negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, analyzing sales figures and market trends to anticipate demand, maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing inventory levels to optimize turnover, and collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Retail Buyer or in a similar procurement capacity within the retail sector
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure the best deals and maintain supplier partnerships
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and forecast product demand effectively
• Organizational skills to manage inventory and meet strict deadlines
• In-depth understanding of current retail trends and consumer preferences
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
• Legal eligibility to work in Qatar
