Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demand and Supply Planning Manager to join a leading organization in Qatar within the Supply Chain and Procurement sector. This role demands a strategic leader who can oversee forecasting, optimize inventory management, and enhance supply chain efficiencies, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of demand forecasting and supply planning activities, aiming to balance supply with customer demand effectively. Responsibilities include optimizing inventory levels, coordinating material planning, and managing logistics to minimize costs while maintaining service standards. You will be expected to drive cost-saving initiatives, improve procurement efficiencies, and develop strong supplier relationships to mitigate risks. Setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous process improvement will be integral. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the planning team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and innovation.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should have at least 8 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in demand and supply planning, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is required. Proficiency with ERP systems is essential, with SAP experience considered a strong advantage. Candidates with over 2 years of work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region will be preferred. Exceptional analytical abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various departments are critical for success in this role.
