Job Overview

Diganto Express Contracting and Hospitality is seeking skilled Hydrotest Technicians for a Tier-1 EPC project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This position offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension, ideal for candidates with a solid background in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing within the oil and gas or fabrication sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hydrotest Technician, you will be responsible for executing hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety and project standards. Your role involves working with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), managing test equipment such as high-pressure pumps and manifolds, and performing tests on GRP piping to verify integrity and leak-tightness.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
• Familiarity with oil and gas or fabrication industry standards and workflows
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, pressure testing methods, and interpreting P&IDs
• Experience handling GRP piping and operating high-pressure pumps and manifold assemblies
• Legal eligibility to work in Qatar is mandatory
