Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Scissor Lift Operator to join a project based in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar. This position offers an initial contract period of 3 to 5 months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating both electric and diesel scissor lifts, ensuring efficient material handling and support during high-elevation tasks. Routine pre-use inspections of equipment to verify operational safety and compliance with health and safety standards are essential duties.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating scissor lifts, particularly electric and diesel types
• Strong understanding of equipment safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to adhere to work-at-height regulations and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements
• Capability to conduct thorough pre-use checks on equipment to ensure readiness and safety
• Physical fitness and medical suitability for working at heights

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a scissor lift operator
• Prior experience with Model #3394RT scissor lift operating at a maximum height of 21.1 meters is preferred
• Valid third-party certification as a scissor lift operator is mandatory
• Relevant experience within Qatar or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is an advantage
