Job Overview

We are urgently seeking skilled Sand Blasters for a six-month offshore project in Qatar, with the possibility of extension. This role is essential for preparing steel structures, pipes, and equipment through abrasive blasting to ensure surface readiness for coating and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sand Blaster, you will be responsible for removing rust, old paint, and contaminants from various metal surfaces following strict project specifications. The role requires handling blasting equipment, including hoses and nozzles, and understanding abrasive materials to achieve the desired surface cleanliness and profile.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 3 years of offshore Oil & Gas experience focusing on abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Competency with blasting equipment and materials
• Knowledge of surface cleanliness standards and profile requirements
• Ability to work with industrial protective coating systems is an advantage
• Valid offshore safety certifications such as BOSIET/HUET and H₂S/BA are preferred
• Medical fitness for offshore deployment is mandatory

Project Location

This position is based on the Qatar Offshore project site, requiring candidates to be adaptable to offshore work conditions.
